The American Women's Club in Finland was founded to provide a means for social interaction for women of American nationality or heritage residing in Finland. The club promotes the furtherance of knowledge and mutual understanding between women of the United States of America and the Republic of Finland. Meetings

The AWC Finland meets monthly, every second Thursday of the month, excluding June, July & August.

A typical meeting program includes a guest speaker, information on upcoming events & activities, refreshments, and time for socializing.

AWC Finland is a member of the Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas (FAWCO), a United Nations NGO with special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council.
