The American Women's Club in Finland was founded to provide a means for social interaction for women of American nationality or heritage residing in Finland.
The AWC promotes the furtherance of knowledge and mutual understanding between women of the United States of America and the Republic of Finland.
Our popular Tried&True cookbook is available!
With over 200 recipes
of our favorite Finnish and American classics, all in US standard and
metric measurements, large 50 page appendices of translations, a food
glossary, substitution charts, this cookbook has become a favorite for
us all. It was published in 2005 to benefit 2 Finnish charity organizations
and over 500 copies have been sold so far. Price is €15 for non-club
members.
