Book Club

The AWC Book Club usually meets on the 1st Friday of the month in the AM. We are a small group of avid readers and we cover a wide spectrum of authors. New members are welcome—in fact we are desperate for new blood as many of our members left Finland in the summer.

Our next meeting will be Friday 11th January at the usual place, to discuss the popular French classic novel "Madame Bovary" by Gustave Flaubert. PLEASE NOTE THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE 2ND FRIDAY IN JANUARY. New members are welcome; come along and join the lively discussion whether you have read the book or not—you can check the reviews on the Internet. The book is available at the Helsinki Library.
